About ChinaTopMed

ChinaTopMed is an independent directory of China's top public hospitals, organized by disease and procedure, plus a small administrative-assistance service for patients who decide to go. It is run by an independent team with first-hand knowledge of both the Chinese hospital system and life in Southeast Asia.

Our method

Hospital standings come from the Fudan Hospital Rankings — China's most cited specialty reputation survey — and we link the ranking, not our opinion. Prices come from provincial government price catalogs and official statistics, each linked beside the number with a verification date. Where we haven't verified something yet, the page says so plainly.

What we are not

We are not a hospital, not a clinic, not doctors, and not a medical broker. We take no commission from any hospital, we do not handle your medical payments, and we make no promises about treatment results. We list public hospitals only.
