1. What ChinaTopMed is
ChinaTopMed ("we") operates an information directory about public hospitals in China and provides administrative assistance services (translation, appointment booking assistance, itinerary information) to users who request them. We are an information and administrative service only.
2. Not medical advice; not a medical provider
We are not a healthcare provider and nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis, or a treatment recommendation. Decisions about whether, where and how to seek treatment are yours and your doctors'. We do not guarantee the availability, quality or outcome of any medical treatment.
3. Not an intermediary; no commissions
We are not an agent or broker of any hospital. We receive no commission or referral fee from hospitals. All medical fees are paid by you directly to the hospital under the hospital's own terms. Any dispute concerning medical services is between you and the treating institution.
4. Information accuracy
Prices, rankings and hospital details are compiled from cited official sources at the date shown on each page. They may change without notice and final costs always depend on your individual treatment plan. Figures on this site are budget references, not quotations or offers.
5. Paid services
Our administrative service fees are flat, published or quoted in advance, and cover administrative work only. If we cannot deliver a paid service (for example, a booking cannot be made), we will refund that fee. Fees do not cover, and we are not liable for, any medical costs or outcomes.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of any service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for acts or omissions of hospitals, translators engaged at your request, transport or accommodation providers.
7. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any dispute shall be finally resolved by arbitration administered by the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) under its rules in force, seated in Singapore, in English, before a single arbitrator.
